Go for an explorer sport 4wd. Same price range if not cheaper then the sport track. Il probably save for one of these after i get another boat. _________________ Ontario Rider

i dont really know what a explorer sport trac is, but i know what an explorer is and they aren't that bad, but an escape is pretty much a mazda tribute i think, maybe i'm wrong _________________ professional procrastinator |

I'm guessing these are the choices her parents are giving her. Out of the 2 choices I would go for the sport trac. I think the escape is too small, like a RAV4 or a CRV. If those are the choices I would go for the Sport Trac, SUV type styling and a pick up back end for your board and gear. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. A buddy of mine has an '02 Sport Trac. I've driven, and ridden in it.....I'm really not impressed. It's a cool idea and I think looks pretty decent....But my '96 Z71 with 100k on it doesn't even rattle as much as that truck does.
We test drove an Escape when my fiance was looking for a new car about a year ago.....Not a bad vehicle, but by the time you get all goodies and 4 wheel drive, you're up there in price....Value just wasn't there for me.
I have to agree that an X-terra is a great value and is a bit pricier than the Escape, but considerably less than a new Sport Trac that's loaded. Also look at the Nissan Frontier, another good vehicle......good luck....but I vote none of the above. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

No offense Aubs and other ladies but the Escape is like the Jeep Liberty and every other Chick SUV. My vote is for a GMC Yukon Denali or a Cadillac Escalade on Sprewells. _________________

Earl those two trucks are the sweetest things out there , but they are about double the price of an escape. _________________ Ontario Rider
