learn it 1 wake first then take it two wakes so you dont get drove into the ground.
since the handle is already close to your hips on a ts jump you need to start turning your board on the way up the wake, look over your back shoulder, pull with both hands a little more, pass the handle as soon as possible, then let it pull you around.
it helps some people to leave with the nose of the board more up in the air.
but what do i know? |

actually those are some good tips - but I would actually start out by learning how to do an ollie bs 180 on the ts edge first....that way the falls will not be as bad if you catch an edge....I do not think they are that hard to do, but at first there is a lot to think about with since now you are involving a handlepass and not just moving the handle. _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |

The key to ts bs 180s for me, is to pop just like you are going to do a straight ts air, and everything is exactly the same on the way up. On the way down, pull the handle with your lead hand down below/across your butt, grab the handle with your other hand, turn your head away from the boat, and prepare for the landing. The key is just waiting to pull the handle- you can really stall this trick. Good luck with them, they are an awesome feeling trick, and impressive to the wakeboarders that understand how much harder spins are than most flips (especially ts bs spins).
Another great thing about learning ts bs 180s is that it makes a cab 3 so much easier. Give it a shot once you learn the ts bs 180. Good luck! |

So it sounds like the hardest part is going to be just getting used to the rotation. I'm going riding today and tomorrow so hopefully I'll land it. Thanks for the tips.
fergie23, for me HS BS 180's are easier because the rotation feels much more natural. I have them fairly consistant regular and switch but TS BS just feels awkward. |

Well I didn't get to try it as much as I would have liked because I lost a couple of my stock tricks ... damn school's throwing me all off or something like that...
Anyway, I did land a couple ollie and inside out but as Mitchell put it I just ate shat. Looks like this one will take a while. Curse my backside spinning block. |

a good way to go learing this, is slow the boat a few miles an hour, stand in your ts trough, and just pull the handle, like your going to pass it, and grab it, then let go. so you still ride the same way.
then do it 1 wake with no handle, just throw it.
then do it one wake with the handle, then wake to wake.
took me 3 tries wake to wake, and now i never miss that trick. |
