My son, AJ, and I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Lyle of Chrome Dome Industries for doing most of the work on this project.
We had an old Obrien Blunt 137 that Lyle trimmed down to a 99 and reshaped the tip and tail. We sealed it all up and AJ and I got the paints out.
We should be on the water very soon trying to break it in.

Man DU540, putting a tear in my eye, I can only pray that when/if I have a child (I am 16  ) that I have such a trooper and kid that loves boarding that much! haha. have fun out there and SWEET board!

That was Lyle's idea too, just lay down the base color and let the boy go to town creating whatever he wants. I did help a lil with the lettering.

Thanks, he is 3 but has the attitude of someone much older, of course I have the attitude of someone much younger so....we get along great

That got a huge LOL outta me. Thanks for the kind words, I hope he is gonna be a ripper.
The rest of you, thanks so much for the nice comments. I will have some video of the boy riding just as soon as I can get him to get in the water. He's still a little sketchy about going in the big river and I don't wanna push him too hard. I push but gotta try not to scar him for life

I will have video posted as soon as I can get him in the river. He's been a lil scared lately. I've been telling him he can't actually try to ride until he first learns to flip himself over from his belly to his back with the board on, in the water, so.....it may have to wait for next summer (hope not).
