Hi
I have just started wake boarding. I have managed to get myself out of the water but I seem to struggle from there. Can any body give me any tips? |

If your up. Work on staying up, try to get a good feel for your board and how it rides. Get use to riding sideways, helps to ride with one hand on the handle. Start out by carving within the wake (making s's in the wake) to get the edging (riding the boards edges) then when you feel good with that head out side the wake and come back in. When you get good at that try to jump in to the wake then try to jump from one side to the other. That should keep you busy for 3-4 months _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

By struggle do you mean the board is skittish on the water? You may need to shift a little weight to the back foot. This will dig the fin in and give you better stability.
A picture is worth a thousand words, if you have one post it and ask for advice on stance, etc. You might get some stupid responses, but I've found there's a group of people here more than willing to help and that advice is priceless. |

I assume you are talking that your up and riding and then the nose of the board goes under?
If so, I think it's time to reset your bindings. They should be spaced about as far apart as your shoulders and ducked out a bit. a good way to tell is to jump forward about a foot and then stop and look at your feet then set your bindings like your feet look.
If you are talking about gettin up and the board goes under thats a whole nother Opra! In this case it might be helpful to know what board your riding and how much you weigh, and how tall you are _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."
