| It depends. If you like a more loose feel (Better for surface tricks) Go without the fins. But if you want tight tracking, which you can still get if you edge properly, fins will help. |

| Fins will help your landing when jumping coz the board is less twitchy and the fins help stabability. But ye if u wanna do switches and stuff its easier without the fins. |

My 2 cents is with out fins will make you a better rider. It will make you learn to edge correctly and not allow you to flatten out when you hit the wake, thus you'll find your pop is better because of form _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

fins give you the extra stability when just learning to ride, once advanced enough to try surface tricks then take them off _________________ There's nothing like a good old faceplant to wake you up in the morning! |

ckligor, Agreed 100%. Just imagine, if you didnt start with them at all, you would soon be forced to learn at a quicker pace. Besides, fins arent slider friendly so you may look into that for the future! _________________

| It depends on the board. Some boards have six removable fins. Some boards have molded in fins and one removable center. Some boards have no removable fins. I think when most people mean riding finless they mean riding without the center fin. You should try riding without the center fin. If you don't like it you can put it back on. |
