I figured out how to get air on the jump just by trial and error. Usually I cut hard and then bend my knees as I'm approaching the wake and then I punch down hard just as I hit the middle-top of the wake. I can get about 3 feet I think. At least that's what the pictures show. I usually ride at about 16-18. I'm scared to go much faster because I have done FAR too many faceplants and it's not something I enjoy! Good luck! Don't give up.

hey guys it easy to jump.... ok first u dont jump at top of wake!!! you bend your knees at approch as u always should have and when u hit the wake straighten your knees and push down on your handle thats all there really is to know ( it works a bit like a spring ) and when i land i usually bend my knees. dont think that when u jump your gonna do wake to wake first try it takes practice so keep at it and good luck ^^ Laughing

ok when i first started i cud get about 3ft of air. all i used to do is go out into the flats turn back in and ride over the wake. you really need to work on your progressive edge, when you do it correctly it feels like your are being slinghoted(not sure if its a word) back towards the wake. when you hit the wake straighten your legs a bit and keep them firm so you dont absorb the impact and keep the handle low and at your hips.

go far outside the wake, do a progressive edge going into the wake bending your knees. when you get to the wake extend your legs and keep edging through the wake. keep the handle low and at your front side of your hip. and spot your landing.

Try this.. Go faster at about 22-23 MPH and edge hard out to either your toeside or heelside (depending on jumping direction) and come in and edge in as hard as you can with a nice progressive edge and don't be afraid of falling. Straighten your legs just as you hit the lip and sort of pop an ollie. When you land if you feel you're off balance just drop the rope and try again. Razz I'm giving the same advice to my little sister so good luck man!
