when i do my grabs and spins im always gettin about 8-10 ft of air, and when i go for my backroll, i dont feel like im gettin high enough, the tip always catches an edge. so i need to either get higher, or spin faster.

Just wait for the pop from the wake. It's the same approach as your spins, the only difference is the weight distribution on the take off. Pop and rock your weight to your back foot. I don't know if this is high or low but this is my pop off the wake and all I do is a wake jump with elbows in and rock some weight to my back foot.

keep the handle at your hip - it will do both - get you higher and rotate you quicker

8-10ft on a regular wake callin you out man, if you could pop 8-10ft without hittin a d-up you'd be fine doin the backroll. But since your askin for help, Alter Ego basically said it, keep the handle at your hip, but also really concentrate on getting the pop off the wake. We should get together and ride sometime though, I'm 10 minutes north in lake mary, ride everyday.

An older ski nautique (I think like 91 or 92) with a pylon pole, wake basically sucks unless we put some weight in it--which we rarely do--but me nor the parents got 20-60 grand to throw out on a new boat so it works for now. We live on lil lake mary and usually ride on it but I occasionally go ride with my friends girlfriend out on big lake mary behind her like 03 or 04 malibu wakesetter, thats always nice . If you wanna come up here and ride just drop me PM or somethin, dont go to school and not workin at the moment so I'm usually always around, unless theres surf then i'm at the beach.
Where you live in m-town?
