Does it really help to have a wakeboard boat?

Or, does it really help to have a wakeboard tower on an i/o?

wakespecific boats are what the name says. theyre built and designed to make the best wake a boarder could want. they have ballast, perfect pass and soo much more.

a tower on an i/o will help some with getting up and hangtime but its difficult to get a wakeboarding wake with an i/o

Take a look at this thread I posted recently. It will explain the difference in every almost every type of boat as far as wake size, shape, and how it pulls. And yes a wakeboarding specific boat does make a HUGE difference.

I have an I/O with a pole, my buddy bought a Mobius LS at the beginning of the season. I've put about 3 hrs on my boat riding and he has about 50 between 3 of us. The boats are night and day, I never thought it would be that much of a difference....but it is. My boat is now for sale.
