| A buddy of mine bought an Obrien Ambush wakeboard and we were riding on it this weekend. Each time we try to ride sideways it is slick as snot. The last board had no fins and was easy. I am curious if we should remove the small fins on each side to allow tricks? |

| if you remove the fins, then it wil give it a much more looser feel. it will also make it alot easier to do surface tricks. but it makes it harder to edge. you will need a good edge, instead of realying on your fins. |

| edge? Sorry I am new here. Personal preferance or not. I am curious if most wakeboarders use the fins when doing tricks? Say there was a poll what would the higher percentage say they do? |

if you take your fins off you will have to get used to controlling the board again, so before you do it make sure you can handle the board WITH the fins first. if that's all good then it will definatly make the surface spins easier _________________ There's nothing like a good old faceplant to wake you up in the morning! |
