In my long quest to invent a new wakeboarding trick, after many failed attempts, I think I did it! I have plenty of ideas but this is the first Ive actually sucessfully done.

What is the trick: A grab, usually done HS but if your skilled, it can be done TS)

Description: Leave the wake and turn 90 degrees backside and straighten your front leg and bend your back leg as much as possible. Now grab the tail of the board with your lead hand, behind you. (instead of reaching across your chest like a snowboard seatbelt, reach behind you)

Name: Pick-pocket, because it looks like your reaching towards your back pocket.

I invented the teeter totter

jump and then grab the nose with your front hand, then grab the tail with your back hand so the board rocks like a teeter totter. It actually look kinda cool off a double up

Nice! I love coming up with new tricks! Dont worry, the Pickpocket isnt my last trick invented. I have plllennty of ideas, I just need to get good enough to try them.

lol... my friend made up the breakfast sausage... it's a variation off the roast beef but it's a double grab. he made it up and a snowboard, and the problem w/ doing it on a wakeboard is that you have to stick both hands like through the bindings and around legs... kind of complicated to explain.

I think he lets go of the rope and grabs both melan and indy (can't do melan and mute) when he's done with his set.

Smokinheels07, if your talking about mine? Not yet, next weekend Ill be sure to get some though.

SouthBoarder, you know that you can land 2 handed grabs. Ive done rocket airs and landed with the rope. Its just like a suicide air with a grab. Just yank the handle, let go, grab, regrab handle, land. Easier said then done but its totally possible.

my friend made up the "slap nasty" he reaches through his legs like a roast beef...but he reaches around and grabs the nose of the board...pretty crazy looking

i made up the one footed tantrum/faceplant..heres how it goes you cut towards the wake but when you change the edge from hs to ts at the last second to make the wake trip you.. i did a huge faceplant and ripped my foot outa one of the bindings.. try it if u hav the guts Laughing
