I am thinking about buying a cassette skate (flat deck) but I was just wondering how difficult it is to grip it your self. Is it worth the money you save or should I buy a more expensive one that is already gripped (if cassettes come already gripped at all I don't know) thanks for the help. _________________ |

nickdakoolkat, it's not very difficult at all. Most boardshops will have a roll of griptape that they use for skateboard decks. You could get them to regrip it or buy two strips (because one usually isn't wide enough for a wakeskate deck) the length of your board.
If you choose to grip the deck yourself Kampus has a helpful video on how to do it.
Good luck! _________________ I wish my grass was emo; then it would cut itself |

My 2005 Casssette Flat didn't come pre gripped. You have to grip it yourself. _________________ This space is for rent |

seandarby, Not the flat decks.
nickdakoolkat, Watch the video from the Kampus website, it shows you just how to do it. _________________ ...island style... |
