Have you ever changed your footbeds on your bindings? I have some Large Alphas but my feet are too long. LF is sending me the footbeds from an XL so I can try to swap it out. Anyone done this? Success, failures, comments, advice? Thanks.

I put some parks footbeds on a pair of my double ups and it came out fine, just take your time and make sure you get the new footbed to adhere really well to the base.

I've done it on Hyperlite High Backs...it works out fine. No problem.

What did you use for adhesion? I was thinking contact cement.

Just get some 3M spray adhesive. What's really cool about doing this is that you can tweak the footbed to your foot. Say you have high arches well you get yourself some closed cell foam and make little shims to adjust the way the footbed supports your feet. Shape the shims with a razor and sandpaper. Have fun.

Funny you should say that, I do have quite a bit of closed cell foam.

BTW, are you sure about 3M adhesive? That stuff sucks ass for other applications.

The footbeds I got came with the adhesive already on, you just peel the bottom off like a sticker.

So basically whats the procedure here?

Unscrew bottom of bindings, rip out old foot beds, install new ones?
