| I got the new board/bindings in. i have the LF EXO suction bindings and i was wondering how does chlorine affect the board/bindings? those suctions are a pain in the *** and they need to be broken in desperatly. i was just going to go sit in the hot tub/spa (what ever you want to call it) for a couple hours while drinking a few beers and call it a night. However, i really think the chlorine would affect it. What do you guys think? thanks |

PoRT, Just invest in some binding lube to start with... There are tons of brands on the market, so you would be set. The more your foot goes in, the better it is for the binding. Again, just get some binding lube and this will help you until they fully break in. I have hard of people soaking them in a bath tub of hot water before they ride, to help, but I never really asked if that helped at all. _________________

if you put them on and just get in/put your feet in that hottest water you can stand for 15-30 minutes it should help, -OR- put beer/soda cans or bottle in them for a while...I've had a binding lube containter in my boot for about a week and its stretched it out perfectly....
good luck and let us know how it goes

i usually put my board out in the sun for a bit before i ride to soften the bindings and use some wakeboard specific lube, washing up liquid rots the binding and its not too great for the ocean/lake. _________________ There's nothing like a good old faceplant to wake you up in the morning! |

| if you just loosen your bindings and put some water in them you should have no problems getting in them. if they are still hard to get into maybe try putting bottles in your bindings to stretch them out, thats what i did and i get in (and out) of them fine. |
