Today i got to go out wakeboarding, it only happenes once every two weeks if were lucky, because im always so busy. And the winds were out of the north so i new a great spot to go to. We go out there and there were so many boats out there just surrounding you everywhere you go. So many people were tubing, skiing, and getting in your way, we had to stop the boat 2 times because people would just cut right in front of you. It was so wavy out there that i couldnt go out of the wake with out losing control. So i couldnt do any tricks besides surface tricks inside the wake. It got me so mad... i barely get to go out anymore, and the only time i do, it sucked.

we got out there early too. around 10, but i wanted to get out earlier. it was still really busy. Usually the lake dosent get busy till after 2. I lived on the lake for 5 years before we moved, and i had never seen it this busy. especially on a friday. it wasnt even a weekend.

I think Friday is kind of considered a part of the weekend.

This was probably the last or second to last weekend before school starts in most places. Lots of wallys hitting the lake one last time. I bet the lakes around me get a lot less crowded from here on out. That's great because we can board here without a wetsuit at least until Thanksgiving. The season's just now getting going!

It was so nice once we had a house on the lake, we would go out everynight right before the sun went down, and there wasnt a boat on the whole lake. It was great Laughing But then again theres always one skiier out there that has to ruin your run.

i'm a little more afraid of the drivers that are turned around watching their tubers instead of looking and seeing that they are heading straight for me sitting in the water.

You shouldnt take stuff from anyone. People need to learn to share the water. If theyre throwing rocks at you pull your boat onto the beach and bitch them out. Theyll feel like stuff. If they keep doing it either get the police or get a slingshot/pb gun of your own

Wow...here's a suggestion. Take a video camera out with you and get some good shots of these guys doing this. If they're in boats, be sure to get a good shot of their numbers. Take that tape in to your local sherrif's office (or whoever has jurisdiction). I think you'll see some pretty quick action taken. I know around here there are such limited resources for law enforment that the river/lake patrol doesn't really get much attention and they do take water safety very seriously. I had tape of a dumby wumby jetskier nearly running over our rider, took it in, talked with the sherrif on the phone and went out to this woman's house and wrote her up and she had to take some safety class. The guy said she was all crying and appologizing over and over.
