Collegiate Wakeboarding Tournament

Hey I'm the president of the team/club here at UT and we're working w/ other schools on playing host to the first ever (?) Texas Collegiate Wakeboarding Invitational. If any of you are enrolled in other schools and want to get a team together holler at me on my e-mail. Or if you have a team and want to be a part of it and need details hit me up as well. Theres been atleast 2 collegiate tournaments down in florida, so your not the first ever, but it would still be cool.

Western Washington University would compete, and theres afew community colleges in florida that would aswell.

It will probably be Texas teams only, but we don't know that for sure yet. I know that there have been collegiate nationals in Florida but it's the first ever texas only collegiate tourney I believe.

The Texas Collegiate Invitational will be on Sept 17-18 in Beaumont, TX out at a private lake there. Teams from SFA, UNT, Texas, Texas St., Lamar, Texas A&M, and the University of Houston will be there. Baylor might show up but we're not sure if their paperwork w/ their school will be finished in time. This is only the first of many stops to come. We plan to spread out into Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas soon to form the South Central Collegiate Wake Boarding Confrence. BurntOrange have you been talking with Wes Reeves at A&M? He's the guy thats supposed to be getting our team set up. It sounds like you have because youve included us in the list of teams for the competition. Do you have any of the details for the competition worked out yet?

Sounds like a good group of schools. What divisions would you have or would it be an open tournament? Thanks.

wakesetter08, The details have been worked out. We're going to send out the format to all of the schools. Yeah, Wes has been helping me start the team over there. How are things lookin over there by the way.
