well lake LBJ is between SA an Austin, an that is a good choice but i live in McQueeney which is about 15 or 20 minutes fom SA and there is lake McQueeney and Lake Placid down here an that is were i ride. McQueeney has some jumps an sliders but it a usually pretty choppy, but placid is were some pros live and it is glass 24-7! _________________ RIDE TEXAS!!!!!!!!!! |

I live in San Antonio & ride at Canyon Lake (north of SA). I get plenty of butter out there early morning or evening but it gets choppy on weekends with tubers, etc.
Canyon is in the TX Hill Country and IMO is the best place to live in TX.

I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to live between the two, just both cities are in my territory. Part of where I love depends on where I can ride |

| Old thread, but what are the best lakes around San Antonio? We may be moving to the north San Antonio area. |
