Stereo Newb Install

Thought I might ask for some advice before I started trial and error. Intalling a JVC Receiver in my Four Winns and replacing the awesome tape deck. Sorry if the pics are in the wrong order. My new harness has 4 wires that are looking for a home, the orange (to car light control switch) - red (to an accessory terminal in the fuse block) - yellow (To a live terminal in the fuse block connecting to the car battery) - and black (ground) I've got the ground under control. However, behind the existing stereo, I have a 4 to 3 going on. After the wiring goes from the stereo to the white connector, the existing orange is cut. The black goes on to a ground, the red continues to the middle of the AM/FM switch, and the pinks goes to the bottom of the switch. The existing stereo works with this set up and was wondering if this is an easy case of just leaving one of the wires without a destination (the illumination-orange) or if I need to do some more in depth rewiring. Thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the ultra newb post....

red-goes to a on/off switch (so you don't drain your battery)
yellow - goes to constant 12v source (keeps HU memory alive)
black - ground
orange - not used

If you just want to remember to turn on/off your stereo and risk having a dead battery you can tie the red and yellow into the same fused 12v source.
