Whats the difference between a $100 'skate and a $300 'skate ?

All i am looking for is something to mess arround with after wakeboarding.

So should i just get a cheaper one or are they any harder to use ?

thanks

$100 skates are typically flat, not concave. For just riding around, you'd be okay, but no serious wakeskater rides a $100 skates.

re re, not true, just look at Clint Tompkins, he rides a Kampus K39, very simple deck, and he kills it. George Daniels and Phil Basino both used to ride this deck also before they got new sponsorships at different Hyperlite and Liquid Force respectively.

Jess, if you are looking for something to just mess around with, i would just get a $100 deck. for your purpose, it will probably do everything you want it to.

I highly reccomend the Kampus k39. It's flat, but it's a very good skate. I progressed so much on it, and it is cheaper that everything else. Nick Taylor ripped up on it like crazy.. sure the 300$ Integrity is nice, but if your looking for something cheap, but efficient.. go for the k39.

Jess, just get a flat deck for now. you should check out sattelyte or cassette's flats because i think k39s are almost impossible to get now. after riding that for a season you will find out that you no longer need your wakeboard.

www.sattelyte.com I love my '04 team deck. PM PIRATE on www.wakeskating.com for prices and stuff. He's a really nice guy and will do his best to get you a good deal. I got an 04 Team deck (flat), gripped and with fins for 100. I think it was about 25 shipping but I can't really remember.
