Anyone in Austin need a place to live???

I have a killer place to live and both my roomies are moving out. One is buying a house and one is getting married...I am not grown up enough to do either, so I want to stay where I am! If I don't find a couple of roommates quick, I'll be forced to move too Sad

If you are looking for a place, or know someone who is, hit me via PM or email. I am 30, but many people think I act MUCH younger Wink

I am looking anyone (male or female) who pays bills on time, cleans up after themselves and has a decent personality. If you are rich, a neat freak, and incredibly charming, so much the better. If you own a boat, you are in!

Here's the highlights:

Big duplex with large deck and covered parking, 3 bedroom/2 bath
Close to Lake Austin (walking distance to Lake Austin Marina), directly across lake from Hula Hut (right behind those big pimp houses)
Close to downtown, with easy access to MoPac and 360
Quiet area, zero neighbor issues
Very cool landlady
Rent = $525, utility bills = $65-95/person

The hammock rocks! Great in the summer when you come home from the bars and don't want to go right to bed. Come on out with Kyle - he keeps threatening to make it back to Austin.

Thanks Earl! The rent is cheap as hell, especially for the sq. footage. The best is the location...not only is it right off the lake, but all the other houses on our street are big a$$ mansions. It's like $1.5 mil, $1.2 mil, $1.3 mil....duplex!

How do you get to rent it so cheap. My roommate and I share a 2 bedroom apartment for $680/month +utilites, and the closest lake is about 10 miles away. Sad

Total luck! Our landlady lives across the street and is retired...just hangs out drinking vodka tonics all day long. She made her $$$ on real estate back on the day and her son, whose family lives next door (they have a big, sweet duplex) played for the Chicago Bears, so they aren't hurting for money anywhere. My buddy lived there first and I got lucky when his old roomie moved out. Bonus - 2 hot sisters live next door..used to be three.

Don't know...have to ask Kyle! He said he wanted to come out for Memorial Day, but I think his plan now is to stay in Cali....I think he has family in the Corpus Christi area and was going to see them, then head to Austin for some pulls and partying.

Texas is just right for you P! I see the girls in your pics EVERY night downtown! Bring it!

I don't run much with the "pretty" people anymore. The only time I dress up or wear makeup is for work. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I am riding more. Not a lot of time for the other crap.....

You are right jt.....I'm staying out here for Memorial Day, but with that house and killer deal on rent, I might have to move back!
I'm going to start pushing for a B-P in the Austin area....I think it could work....

atxwake, I like the idea....but, unfortunately it's ultimately left up to the owners of the company to decide that. From what I remember about Austin, it would be a great place to have a shop. You guys seem to have a very quickly growing scene out there now, and it seems it's just going to keep getting bigger and bigger. I will definately thrown in my .02 to the right people, and see what they have to say....
