...this little girl is now a wakeboarder! At 6 months she was in the boat. At two years she was tubing. At 4 she traded the tube for the kneeboard. Today at 5 she traded the kneeboard for the wakeboard.
Sorry the pictures aren't that good, she is only as big as a minute and her brother doesn't know how to zoom yet. _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |

| That's awesome. It's great to see the kids learning, even better to see more girls trying, especially that young. |

Thanks everyone. I've never seen her so excited! She called everyone she knows to tell them of her big day. Then she talked non stop for three hours about the experience.
She even informed me the reason I broke my ankle was because "I wasn't balanced on the wakeboard."
I'm tickled my kids are finally over the fear of boarding because of my injury. _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |

| lcap, that is so bad ass, i am trying to get my little cousin who just turned four to hop on the board with me, but he is so stubborn and wont do it. I just think it would be awesome because when i look back now, i always hated the water and lived on my lake for my whole life and never got on a wakeboard till i was like 13 or 14 and i wish someone made me start when i was little. Did you have to physically ride with her the first time or did she just try it on her own? Looks like we may have a little dallas friday on our hands training behind a SAN at 5 years old. You were complaing before about the wake being to big but before you know it, she is going to be asking for more weight. Very cool man |

kyle, The wake is too big. My 8 year old son my huge progress this weekend. After he went out with me and 5 teenagers I was giving lessons to, he decided the wake was cool (no ballast, short rope). He started jumping the wake heel side but the lip wipes him out every time he crosses it toe side switch.
Mermaid, Thanks, she is riding a 119. Smallest board I could find. _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |

Bowen,
Hehehe, she's been on a gymnastics team for two years now. She does flips on anything she can find: Bed, Trampoline, Grass, Floor.
She's scaring the crap out of her older brother and his friends who wakeboard. They were all hoping she couldn't get up.
Tonight I take her to our local board shop for stickers to decorate her board. _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |
