|
|
Any comments on how I can get my HS and TS jumps higher. I can go W2W HS but not TS. I have been working hard on a progressive edge and keeping the rope low. Any other comments from the picture? I was trying to attach video (.MOV files) but not sure how to convert them to a compatible file.
Any help would be appreciated! |

Post a picture of when you're at the top of the wake. Its almost impossible to tell what you did wrong by only looking at you in the air. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. A great friend will sit next to you saying, "man that was cool as f*ck!" |

How fast are you going? From the pic it looks like there is a lot of foam at the crest of your wake. Are you cutting as much as the rope will let you (maximum distance)? _________________ Adam

Addammer, The wake looks like it's rolling over where he takes off from too. My bet is that the nose of his board is running through the curl of the wake because he is hitting the wake flat. Look how high the nose of the board is mid way through the jump _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

| Here's one when I'm at the top of the wake. I am riding behind an I/O with trim about a quarter up at around 20-21mph. Not the best wake in the world and very wide but I finally went W2W for the first time behind our boat. Let me know if this pic shows anything...thx |

form looks good. Speed looks like it's the only issue. From what I can see good edge standing tall. I not a pro but I think speed is the ony thing you need. Post the Video. I'm sure that weight in the boat will get you a larger wake so you can run that edge a bit steeper _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

| Actually your knees look a bit bent and you look like you're going off the wake instead of edging 'through' the wake. A video would make it way easier to tell though. |

The only thing your doing is absorbing the pop in your knees _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

| yeah -- your knees are bent in that pic -- ok to bend them as you approach -- but stand up as you hit the top |

| So, it seems like a consensus that I need to stand tall at the wake and not absorb the pop with my knees. Anyone see anything else I should work on from the video link posted above byckligor? Thanks for the help - will try this weekend! |

| So... is his 20-21 mph a good speed? I've found that I am most comfortable at 24-25 mph and have cleared the wake at that speed (from a ski tow line that attaches to the boat about 6 inches from the water that is). Should I try slower? What speed do you experts run at? |
