I am looking to get my first digital camera and with a tight budget. I don't want anything TOO complicated, but would still like to get some good wakeboard pics. Any suggestions? I guess i'm probablly looking for just a good "point and shoot"! Thanks for any help

wahts your budget... a tight one is relative... I have a tight budget but I'm also considering some bodies are up to like 6 or 7k and lenses... woah.. Really I would just look at the nikon or canon at your price range and you will prob be able to get a good point and shoot. Seems like nikon makes the best point and shoots... and canon makes the best dslr's, lol (my oppinion obviously)...

well... in buying the rebel its not just a body you have to buy... the investment really goes to lenses and maybe flash systems and all that stuff... good luck on your search, but I dont think you can really go wrong sticking with that line up.

www.dpreview.com has a wonderful camera review section.

Also, don't hesitate to buy a used camera from ebay or fredmiranda.com

You might be able to get a DSLR in your price range @ a used price.
