Jim- I almost posted the same thing when I first read this post...LOL...
But it was Fauker so I knew a bass A$$ like him already knew that part....
Give it a go of the d-up first, I have heard through conversations that this gives you the hang time to pull this one off the first few times....

man, I dunno......Im just not that consistent on timing the d-ups
I figure the next day the sun's out, we got a bunch of ass in the boat, and the water is smooth, ill try and drop one.
Ive just been taking my raleys really big lately, and I was thinking either S-bend or 911. On a whim I tried a 313 the other day, and actually got like 3/4 of the way around - just hard to get that handle.
I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes if I attempt it tho _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=16993 one of few trips i got to make to the lake this year |

I have only seen Parks throw them how they should be thrown, and he makes you think its freakin deadly if you miss. You hit it hs and lay out and start to open up and rotate like a s-bend, then hold it shifty, then revert on the way down, landing back to hs. He drops his back hand and looks behind him for extra style, it should be called the Suicide.
It would be a great trick to learn if you have the air control on raleys, it could lead to styling orientals and indy glides. |

yeah, i can do these tricks too, that's why i don't post forums about tricks that i can do. it is almost like he is trying to remind everyone HOW GREAT HE IS... i don't like cocky people like that. that is probably why i have never heard of him on the pro tour either....... |

hey man... faulker is just trying to learn new stuff, these forums are here to help the wakeboard community, and faulker wants some help with his 911. Now, although I can't pull one, there are people who can and will gladly help another wakeboarder learn something new... _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

lol WHOA!
I think someone got confused somewhere...
Just to clarify a tad - my last post was an inside joke between me and buck, last week we were in panama city for spring break, and so jokingly one of the guys with us suggested I start telling the ladies I was a pro wakeboarder. So being drunk, I started using it, and it worked .
Nah, I'm not a pro wakeboarder, nowhere near good enough to make it today as there are SO many good riders. I know this sounds cliche'd but I really do ride for the enjoyment. Everyone knows when you get pissed out on the water, it takes away from everyone elses fun and your riding only goes downhill from there anyway.
I really do wanna try a 911, I'm just the kind of person that likes to try to land a trick the first time. I prefer to skip all the assbusting (although with this trick i realize that's unlikely)
well, i got a class to go to, peace out fellas... _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=16993 one of few trips i got to make to the lake this year |

Speaking of the 911, does anybody in here remember when Parks first did it on TV? I remember watching it and freaking out when I saw it. It was cool cause I think it was off the double up at the end of his run, and he was only holding on with one hand. It looked pretty wild. Ah...the good old days |

Jonathon Nadolski can lay out some sick raleys. Really as big as parks goes. Have it on film of him holding it so long and far out from camp. Hes on the Junior mens tour. Keith lyman can throw some nice ones too _________________ Everything in Between is what matters the most...

anyone can throw a raley as big as parks...raley is in my opinion the easiest invert. all you have to do is have the guts to try it and not let off that edge. i think the most impressive raley trick i have ever seen would either be andrew adkinson's 515 and by far the hardest one would have to be shaun murray's hoochie blind judge off the double up. |

Hey dude, a raley is not an invert. An invert is a roll or flip, something where you are INVERTED. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. Get your $*** together Billy, cause the night ain't over!"

yes it is considered an invert, i don't know if you have ever noticed this, but when someone does a raley, don't their feet go above their head??? oh yeah, that would make them inverted......so yes it is an invert. why would this matter anyway???? |
