i have a rinker rx2 i/o ...it has a tower and it gives up a nice big wake but it doesnt have that lip that the mastercrafts/malibus/nautique air boats have, its washy at the top, ive trimmed the motor all the way up and that seems to give it more of a 'lip' at the top of the wake, does anyone else trim up the motor to get a better lip or what?
Yeah trimming up the motor definately helps. I have an i/o bayliner and we trim it up and it makes the wake a lot bigger and it comes to a better peak. Its still not like having a wake specific inboard boat but it helps a lot. The tower always helps too. Anyways you dont have to have an excellent boat to throw down. _________________ take the time to contemplate who you are and where you want to go. Mine had that problem too until I added some weight to the locker and bow. Now its alot cleaner but still gets washy on the downwind wake when the wind is blowing. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. A great friend will sit next to you saying, "man that was cool as f*ck!"
