I know that this has been answered a bit before, so just for clarification it will not damage my board to put a different brand of bindings on my board. I just bought a new board and I take better care of it that anything else. The guy at our local shop told me to stick with same brand board and bindings, but he was really trying to sell me something while I was there.

What board and what bindings? HL boards sometimes require longer bolts, therefore the HL bindings come with bolts that are too long for most other boards. You can just add washers, though, to take up the extra length.

any bindings will work for any board

I ride a jstar board with liquid force bindings.

seraph_falls, If that was true all board companys would make bindings but some don't Mr. Green

Board and bindings are completely interchangable. You can ride any brand board and any brand binding. The bolt patterns are universal.
