| for those that have the 2005's that only come with center ballast available, is that enough weight? or did you feel like you needed some additional?

| If you want a sick wake you add ballast. I rode a V210 this weekend that had probably 1500 pounds of ballast and 8-9 people. The wake was absolutely off the hook!! Two sacs in the back one up front and lead everywhere. Sink it and you will find true joy.

It depends what speed you ride & how big a wake you want. If you are riding around 21mph stock centre (upgraded to 700 pound sac)is fine and makes a nice shape resonably solid wake. If you are a intermediate/advanced rider and ride @22-24 mph you need more weight and rear ballast. 1500-1800 pounds + peeps is the magic number for scary huge wake.

| I was behind one a couple of weeks ago. It was an 05 with only the 300 pound center ballast. And no, that isn't nearly enough. We ended up putting two 500 lb sacs in the back locker and that made the wake pretty sick. I cant seem to understand why Sanger doesn't offer rear ballast as an option.

Hockeyplayer, if you want a really sick wake put another 500 in the bow. The V210 likes weight forward.

Lets go ride do a custom sack for the floor, it is 80" x 28" x 10"
I doubt it fulls right up but probably holds around 600 or so when in the floor. In addition I run 550 of lead in the tip of the nose and under the bow seats. In the rear I have 2x custom 350 pound tanks, most of the time we run these around 1/2 to 3/4 full but I ride with a big crew, 7 peeps is usual. You might want a pair of 500's in the rear if you only ride with 3. You really want to get 60-40 front to back weight distribution with the V210 to stop the wake getting to narly.

No in the floor, I don't run any exposed weight.

oshensurfer, All I Know is I was talking to my buddy who just bought the V210 and he was telling me that they didn't offer rear ballast. He said the salesman gave him some BS about how Sangers research shows that center ballast produces the best wake.
Thats the only Info I have to go off of though.

hehe thanks. I did that 3 and everyone stood up on the boat and gave props. I was confused until i saw the picture. It's how I ride, good edge & really pop hard wake to wake.
Seriously i don't know if I've ridden a better wake. The SAN is too abrupt, malibus are pretty darn nice but I loved the 210 shape. Just big and meaty with a ton of "ups". I can't wait to graduate!
