| I need to find some cheap pumps for my sacs. I seem to remember some saying that you could get them at walmart??? It seems crazy to pay $50 for a 12v pump. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Yeah. Fat sack pumps are basically aerator pumps with hoses attached with a waterbed fitting. You can get a 500 gph pump at walmart for $25 or so. You will also have to get hoses, waterbed fitting, adaptors and clamps. You could probably find 750 and higher gph pumps at a marine store. I wouldn't get anything less than a 750. The fill time is just too long. |

I paid $18 for a 750 gph at wal-mart. It works pretty good but it's not near as good as a rule 1100. _________________ Greg |

Attwood 750, Wally World fishing department, 18$ Waterbed fitting kit 6$, waterbed department. I don't use the waterbed fittings, get a piece of 1" OD clear vinyl tubing from Home Depot, about 6" long, jam it onto a 3/4" barb elbow, then into the sack. Cheap and watertight, and easy to deal with. _________________ Silver Skurfer |

| a 3/4" barbed elbow is a piece of plastic or pvc shaped like the letter "L" with a little ridge on the ends, allowing for a 3/4" ID hose to fit over it. |

Sounds like you are on your way but for anyone who has ever sucked on the end of a hose you may want to think about self priming, we had a non self priming 1100 gph rule. pretty fast for 2 350lb sacs. went to a blue water self priming for tjose two sacs, upgraded to two 750 lb sacs abd put in another blue water. Plumbed it in to fill from the water intake and drain from there too. you can start filling as soon as you hit the water still on the trailer.....Great!!!! _________________ Pukka Electric Mininbike "Fast - Fun - Safe"
