Wetsuit question

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to buy a wetsuit full/Shortie for Lake erie(Sandusky Bay/Maumee River) wakeboarding. I know the lake is not as warm as usual private/public tiny cottage lakes. Usually Erie gets to about/around 60-65 degrees. If I was looking to get one...id definently consider the shortie because i really dont think i would need a full unless i did some late fall riding. Any suggestions?

Another thing....i cant find any wetsuits that would probably fit me right...I am 6'1 and around 165-170lbs. My chest is id say probably a 38-40 and my waist is 30-32. I was thinking x-Large because of the length...but im not sure how that all works...

wet siuts come in loads of different sizes not just small medium and large. when you go to the shop look at the book thats usualy attached to each wet suite they'll have a big table with loads of height and chest sizes so you should be able to find the size you need! don't now if youll need it i'm in the uk so haven't been there!!!

The need for a wetsuit depends on the water temp, air temp, and how much time you spend in the water. If every time you fall your driver is like mine and likes to take a sightseeing cruise around the lakes then you need a wetsuit in cooler water.

I have a shorty but fortunately I didn't need it much this spring because the water warmed up quicker than usual. But I've almost used it last week because the air was cool in the early morning. Bottom line is if you're cold you won't ride well or have fun

i prefer the sorty wetsuits because they are less restricting and that little bit cheaper
