big falls w/ boardshorts = embarrassing delays. Suggestion?

This spring I wore neoprene shorts and was fine.
Now that it's hot, I'm getting taking painful shots to the nads most every day (especially trying to learn this 360).

You guys wear a cup or something or just fall a lot less?

I never wear a cup... just a pair of tight boxer briefs under the board shorts...

Cause I land feet first, but on my ass. . .

So the board is much closer to the boat than my body is.

Or I bounce frontside, but land face first, board towards the boat.

Sure, I'm leaning away from the boat too much, but such a penatly.

Finally stuck the frontside 360 today (2x out of 10 tries) - progress rules.

I have no problems.. but 50% of the time I wear a wetsuit under my board shorts for extra comfort.

I don't really think theres a way to prevent the ball smacking all together while still wearing boardshorts.... but if there is someone TELL ME!

a few weeks ago i picked up some Cure undershort things. well all i got to say is they dry fast and kept my boys in check

i'd wear some speedos or swimmin trunks underneath but don't wear a cup you won't be able to move. alos try and stand tall doing your tricks or wake jumps which will he;p you not to fall flat on ur balls

Tried a pair of Patagonia capilene boxer-briefs and they work even better than a supporter (and less embarrassing). Or maybe I'm just landing on my ass less? Hopefully both.
