Shenanigons916, Sounds like you need to front roll your crow more...so you come over the top and not out the back....

The crow mobe is just a blind180 at the end of a good crow hence why it's one of the easier mobes. You already know that I'm sure but do you think like that when you try the trick?

Sounds like you are tryn to spin off the wake and only keeping one hand on the handle which is getting you all laid out. Keep two hands on the handle until you are on the way down from the crow then spin blind and stuff the handle up your A$$ basically.

Think of the trick in two parts and you will have much better luck ---IMO

Don't forget it is a switch blind 180, so that might be a trick you want to work on if you don't do it regularly (though I don't do crow mobes, so take that for what it's worth!).

Speaking of that...can you do a front roll? I know many people who can do a crow but can't do a front roll. The landing is more like a front roll than a crow landing, so if you can't do straight front rolls, get those first.

i can do a frontroll and a scarecrow. i think next time out i will work on switch BS 180's so then i can land blind instead of doing the handlepass.

Shenanigons916, do you have them switch and regular? the switch hs bs 180's are what will help you with this trick.

toothpick, is correct, you need to be over the toes and the front roll will help you learn that.

Working on LATE TS 3's will also get you to spot the landing by looking behind you like you would on the crow mobe and will get you comfortable with landing closed to the boat leaning away.

The switch HS BS 180 is hard for most people mainly cuz they are leaving the wake switch. I tell people having a hard time with this trick to go back and work on late TS 3's, the key word being LATE.
