| this isnt much of a tricktips question... but whatever the barrel roll could have either been a tantrum or a mexican backroll i guess... look it up in the videos section, find the backroll and find tantrum and watch the video of it youll find it. i dont really think theirs a "backflip" in wakeboarding... correct me if im wrong. |

I think a backroll is the closest thing wakeboarding has to a backflip. a trantrum is more like a cartwheel motion i think.

ballywho, you've got them backwards. The backroll is like a cartwheel, tantrum like a "backflip".
NHWakeRider, check out the trick tips section and watch the videos. |

| yeah a tantrum is a backflip, if you think about a backflip on the tramp its the same rotation, and could a barrel roll be a whirly maybe? theyre my favorite, as soon as my tantrums are constant thats the next trick, hehe cant wait |

This is what the guy did. Imagine someone standing directly behind the boat looking at the boat with a board on his feet. Then imagine him doing a backflip. Thats what this guy did off the wake. _________________ From ice-out to ice-in, ride untill you fall out of your bindings.

If he's facing the boat with his shoulders facing the boat, its not a tantrum and i dont see how it is possible lol--the board would hit the rope. Maybe he did it osmosis or held the rope out really far from his body lol
I bet he did a backroll and NHWakeRider just isn't describing it well. _________________ Don't listen to advice from people who can't land that trick. My list:
