If you can already do big raleys, you shouldn't be too far away - cut out about 3/4 of what you would do for your normal raley and take your same progressive cut in that you would do for the raley except right before the wake, back off your edge a little bit (some may disagree with this, but I try to pop more up than a normal raley and reduce a little line tension to keep my arm from getting yanked at the top of the trick - once you have left the wake (make sure you leave the wake first) immediately bring your knees in, or think about trying to kick yourself in the butt with the heelside edge of the board - as you do this reach back with your front hand (left for regular footed riders), grab the board, enjoy it, bring the handle back to the center of your waist, ride away and smile - make sure to leave the wake with even weight on both feet to keep from stargazing

Oh yeah, and if K-Wood is right, go ahead and try one then send me a video of you eating crap so it will be worth the time I took to type that stuff above

K-wood Kid, f--k you. if you have somethin useful to say then say it, dont make an assumption when you havent even seen me ride. we're going to do some filming soon i think, ill post a vid of my raley although i need to figure out how to post a vid on the internet. and the reason my progression is weird is because it's really rushed. this is my first year riding and i just tried a raley a bit ago and realized theyre not going to be that hard to learn. man you f--kin suck, k-wood, even if i was lying, wtf you think you are? the poser police or something? just back off bro this stuff is about havin fun, worry about yourself.

and i know, people like that get me fired up........ Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
like everyone says, raleys are 90 percent mental, and i got that down cuz im not afraid of many things on a wakeboard.

K-wood Kid, you don't know what you are talking about, frontrolls are just as easy.
bhamglassman, as for the hoochie glide, it is really easy, the key is to not think that you are doing a raley because you do the trick COMPLETELY different. To do a hoochie glide, cut out about the same distance you would for a raley but instead of charging the wake, take more of a hard progressive edge with your knees extra bent. When you hit the wake, do not extend your knees, but bring them up, bent, behind your head and grab the trick right off the wake. Once you have the grab, the style is up to you. You can extend it, tweak it method glide style or whatever, it should pull down just as easy as a raley, good luck.

Dude its all about your opinion right? Well my opinion is that frontrolls are a little harder than crows just like kyle has his opinion and so forth. Also bham if you didn't notice I have been tryin to help you out but I wasn't going to waste the energy to type out a long explanation on a trick that you probably couldn't do. Now I could careless and I'll just let you go around learning ts frontrolls and hoochies have fun f*cker

i hate whoever decided to call a trick 'OHH' Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
i mean honestly, thats the worst name for a trick ever. id feel like an idiot if i referred to a trick as 'ohh'.

bhamglassman, you pernouce the letters seperately. so it is pronounced, "O", "H", "H". Please do not call it an atom bomb because no one will know what you are talking about

An Atom Bomb is a Raley with a stalefish grab, who doesn't know that? Adam Delvechio was the first person to land it, that's why it's called an ATOM BOMB. Pretty simple to understand if you ask me.

i learned an OHH first just because my left arm is stronger (regular footed) and i thought it would be easier to pull myself back in with my left arm, i didnt really know what to do at first, so at first i did a raley, took my right hand off in the middle of the trick and pulled myself down with one hand, just to make sure i could before i went all out, the next time i took my right hand off immediatley off the wake and did a normal one handed raley to see if the rope would rip outta my hands if i went all out, i landed it fine ( and yes it is a bit hard to hold onto a raley with 1 arm) so then i cut out as far as i could cut in as hard as i could did a bent leg raley, let go of my right hand right off the wake and threw it behind me, grabbed the board then brought it back in, DAMN it was cool, i guess heres one way to learn em ;P

How do you get the board to fly up behind you?? Do you try to pop off your toes at the top of the wake?? Does the hard progressive cut automatically put your board up behind you?? Whenever I try these, i usually end up with a huge "method". Any help would be great!

mcmarbles, if you're edging properly the board will just fly out behind you. Don't go off your toes. If you do though, post that video as well please. Laughing

So to get the board up and behind you, you just bring your heels to your but and extend your front arm gradually??(the one with the handle of course.)

If you edge hard enough the board will just push up and swing away from you if you let it. The key is that it's progressive though... a lot of people rail it and then flatten just before the wake and don't get the pop.
