When are they going to be available and where? The website isn't real helpful. _________________ Eric |

I know. I'm too lazy to find the link for him, but he's complaining that there's not a link to a wakeskate website on a wakeBOARD website. So I suggested searching wakeskating.com for the link

Thanks...pretty helpful bunch you are...well except for vance . First off Nick, your reading comprehension is a little off base. I said the website was not helpful...so you could infer that I had already been there...which I had. I work in systems so I do know how to "work" the internet.
What I wanted to know was where could I get a Level 13 brand of board (L13) since they are new I thought it would be fun to try one. You'd think that in a wakeskating forum people would know...sheesh. _________________ Eric |

| L13 decks are sweet. A buddy of mine actually works for L13 so i got to demo some boards last weekend and now im buying one off him. Im not sure what stores stock them, but L13 always has a tent set up at the X-Cup events. The company is still pretty new and trying to make a name for themselves but im sure if you get the chance to ride their decks you will back them. They dont manufacture fins for their boards right now because the fins are still in the design stages, but the prototypes are sick. Althought right now they are still coming out, i suspect they will get alot bigger in the months to come. |

My car is covered with L13 stickers. They sell them at a local board shop. _________________ --- Dj Tiesto --- |

So what boardshop might that be? Phone number would be good too. We have basically one local "boardshop". _________________ Eric |

No wake marine is the closest thing to a board shop. They are a malibu dealer mostly....as are most of the "dealers" in the area. Nothing in the area like some of the bigger watersports only stores you'll find in Florida or California.
I have been looking for a skate, but don't really want the cookie cutter Hyperlite or LF skate.

Alright, heres a little update on where you can buy L13 skates. If you are interested in buying a L13 skate, they are sold at Pride of Muskoka, KLWC, Boardsports, Steenburg and a few other shops.
I highley recomend levelthirtn decks. Ive been riding the superstar concave for the last month and it rides incredibly. The shape of the deck with the concave and kick tales makes the board ride alot more like a skateboad. The best thing about this deck is that it is very versitile, its great for popping shuv-its and other tricks off the surface, but its is just as good when you want to go big on w2w jumps. The decks also seem to work great on rails, i have not tried this personally, but ive seen Jesse Page hitting rails with the same deck and he kills it. Another great thing about this deck is that it is cheaper that most other concave decks out there which is nice.
The official site for levelthirtn is www.L13.ca and you check out my gallery to see some nice pictures of the skates in action. |
