Hey guys im Dan and im new to the forum. Currently I ride my friends hyperlite universal series fluid 137. its pretty good i like it. but i would really like my own board. i was looking at the obriens because there good price wise . i weigh 140 lbs and was told i would need anywhere from a 135 to a 140. i was looking at the obrien diesel, what do you guys think of this board? it also comes with divce bindings. i was also looking at the CWB sol with mobe bindings, hows this board?

one other question. we use a 19ft rinker and im able to get 2-3 feet of air of it. do you guys think a tower would help? if so how much?

thanks,
dan

Tinymonkey,

Whats up with the O'Brien bashing!! Last time I checked The 2006 Pro Tour winner is Josh Sanders and I believe Daniel Watkins took second and they both ride for O'Brien.

Sounds to me like O'Brien must be able to make some pretty nice boards for these guys to have done so well!!

NHWakeRider,

The Diesel is the same board that Randy Harris rode when he rode for O'Brien. It is a really nice board and now that it doesn't have Randys name on it they can sell it for a lot less.

Later,
jjakober

LF Team 139 (features a continuous rocker) nice a versatile with a good pop of the wake, the continuous rocker helps on sketchy landings, so deff. a good higher end advancement board...
