|
|
We've had a great summer getting my 13 year old son and all his buddies up wakeboarding this year (me and a bunch of adults too). To my great amazement (and pleasure), my slightly timid 8 year old daughter wants to give wakeboarding a try. We have a LF Omega 143 for us adults and a CWB 135 for the boys. I'd really like to make it as easy as possible for my daughter to learn. Is it worth investing in a smaller board for her? What would you recommend?
Thanks

| I got my 8 yr old daughter the hyperlite divine with pixie bindings package. it's all pink and girly so she loves it. it was very much worth the investment and should last her for a long time, pleanty of growing room. |

| Nothing makes me happier than seeing my 8 yr old cruse behind the boat and yell at me to turn up the tunes. |

We've been really successful getting my 13 year old son and his buddies up wakeboarding. I've read everything I can find on this site about getting little kids up but any tips that worked for you guys and your daughters would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

| The first few times I started with my daughter I got in the water with her and helped her up, just from a getting used to it. After she was comfortable she was able to getup. The biggest issue we had was getting her up outside the wake. We eventually got that squared away, dont remember how. One other thing we did was start with are really really short rope. We also pull slow, about 6-10 mph is all. Hope this helps. |
