| Ok this might sound weird, but we keep trying tantrums and no one on the boat can get the timing right. Ethier switch edge too late or too early, eiter way, ugly crashes. What if we had a airhorn on the boat and when it was time to let go, hit the airhorn so the rider knows when to release? Its worth a shot, because from the boat its easy to see what the other is doing wrong. IDK, just trying to kick arouns some ideas for coaching. |

I've never seen or heard of that method and I have been to a few coaching clinics.
The best coaches find what works for that particular rider so I guess anything is possible.
Sounds wacky to me though. _________________ PEACE

You know that might work better for 360's, might get people out of the habit of throwing them off the wake. I'm off to buy one now _________________ Hasta la victoria siempre |

Dont forget about the delay it takes for the sound to actually travel 75 feet, I think youd be surprised just how noticeable it may be when youre trying to time something correctly. Also, it takes .7 seconds for the human mind to hear, analyze, and react to the noise. Thats a lot of reaction time. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

Im just parroting what ive read. If youre expecting it, Im sure reaction is much faster. Also, built up muscle memory becomes reflex... Do something enough times and you no longer have to think, just react. Ill look for some examples to cite, as im pretty sure i read 7/10ths. But regardless of the actual number, the idea still holds water. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)
