| i waqs thinking the same thing you were for a while b/c i couldnt get too much air but i started getting my technique down i went a little faster and trimmed up the boat and now i get alot of air but again its mostly technique, and YES a tower will help you get more air(despite what alot of people will say) but it will not help you as much as you think so just keep practicing |

| There is no need for a tower. Ive only been wakeboarding for 5 months and i can do a cab roll of a regular I/O. I go out with my friends on there malibu and i can hardly tell the difference. Just look for a board that will have a little more pop of the wake. Just tell the driver to put the tilt up a little bit and it will make a bigger wake. |

Alot of guys are going to tell you that you need a tower to get lots of air. Thats not always true. I have a I/O and i can do lots of tricks off of the wake. Just tell who ever is driving the boat to pull up the trim a little bit and it will make the wake alot bigger. Just bend your knees right before you hit the wake and let go as soon as you hit the top and you can get serious hight. Ive ridden on my friends malibu and i cant really tell the difference just able to get up easier. And if you really want to get a tower just get one of those portable towers, there is no reason to pay 35,000 for a new boat or a tower that will cost you 2 grand.
