i wanna cut in harder but when im changing edge i get an unbelievable amount of slack(my rope kinda sucks) and the boat doesnt start pulling me for like another 5 ft. is there a special technique for changing edge? and would a better 'no strecth' rope help?
thanks

When you cut outside the wake you must get off of your edge and go strait for a few seconds so the line catches up to you and the boat slowly starts to pull you to the wake. After that you start your cut in progressively.

And get a no stretch rope I rode for the first time last weekend in a long time without one and there is a BIG difference between the two. IMO it is more important than board type, wake, ect.

Ok so something similar is happening to me. Let me try to describe it:
I'm regular ok, so I get out the wake to my right side cuting on my toes, I try to cut hard to get speed but when I make the transition to my heels to start the perpendicular line towards the wake I get slack and lose speed. What do I need to do?

let the board go flat before you start edging in. wait til you feel that you are drifting in towards the wake.
