I am having serious trouble jumping from wake to wake. I have been casually wakeboarding for a long time now. I use a Malibu Wakesetter that has an internal ballast sac and a wedge. I bought a 600 lbs fat sac to add a little extra weight in the stern of the boat. I jump high enough to do a 360 but I still always land inside the wake. No matter how fast I hit the wake, I still almost always land just inside the wake on the other side. The faster I hit the wake the higher I go but I still always land in the same spot. Am I missing something? If anyone is familiar with Shawn Murray's instructional DVD "Detention," in the beginning he does not go at the wake nearly at the speed that I do yet he effortlessly clears the other wake. During this portion he is also not going very high in th air. Can anyone give me any pointers? I go about 21-23 mph and have been experimenting between a 60 ft and 65 ft rope. Thanks

Research online and find out if your board has a "3 stage" rocker or "continuous"rocker

are you using progressive edge?

are you standing tall at the point out impact?

holding your rope at hip level during air time?

Shorten the rope to 50 - 55 if you have to. get the wake as narrow as you can and gradually expand from there.
