|
|
| I have a deck boat that has a pretty nice wake and i can go wake to wake heelside and i can land 1 wake 180s and ollie 180s and i tried a hs 360 this weekend and my foot is sprained now, but is it even possible to do a 360 with out a tower cause i felt like it was the fastest i could have rotated but i still landed in the middle of a spin. Also on my TS jumps i probably only get like a foot in the air and i have to raise my knees to my chest mid air just to be able to have enough room to do a 180, any tips on TS jump or 360s? |

Yes it is extremely possible. You can do tantrums backrolls maybe even a small raley and tons of others without a tower. You just need the technique. Hell its possible to do a backroll on an ollie. you just need the technique. Spin when you get to the peak of your jump. _________________ The sky is not the limit. Wanna see me naked? |

It seems like you don't have your progressive edge down PAT (toeside at least), a good non-stretch rope will really help you if your not already using one(check e-bay for one -Bullet Lines are good-) . _________________ |

Because spinning off the edge ruins your line tension and kills your pop...
Yes 360's can be done with no tower. You just need to get your edging down, the idea with 360's is to come into the wake with a mellow progressive edge, but very "squatty" this will pop you up instead of out. Might I recommend learning w2w 180's before learning 3's? It would help get the feeling of landing a spin. Also work on that ts w2w, it's good to get all the basics down so you have a solid foundation.
Just my two cents. _________________ wakeboards

| i can throw w2w 3's with no tower. trust these people when they tell you to wait until you are off of the wake to spin. i used to think like you and i packed it so many times when i would try 3's, then i tried waiting and it worked, i got all the way around with a nice on axis clean spin. |
