| I know it's an old board but has anyone ever ridden a 99' Hyperlite Drifter 136? What did you think about it? If I get it, I'm going to use it as a board for friends to ride so they don't have to ride my board |

When I first saw the Drifter shape I thought it was a total gimmic. It looked like Hyperlite just slapped a multi fin board together quick to compete with the Trip. Boy was I wrong! After riding it I was a believer. It has awesome acceleration and pops like a mo fo! Just make sure it's got the cuda fins not the cleavers. _________________ Why Vegan? |

i had the first model of this board, before it was called the drifter, it was called the patos, i rode it for years and sold it to my friend and he rides it now, it was a great board for me in the beginning, it will hold a rock solid edge. but once i got better i want a board that was more poppy and would spin easier, but for just a board to ride it was great _________________ www.entrustclothing.com |

I learned on a drifter and my friend still rides my old one.
Its a great board, but the fins were too big for me. I like a more squirly board. |
