Bigger fins?

do bigger fins give you more pop? i ride a state and its molded fins are like .5". i rode my freinds 04' TFD which has two 1.1" a wings instead of molded fins and i got mad pop with that board...was it just me or is it the board?

bigger fins dont have to do with pop. you probably just carried more speed into the wake.

classik5onit, definitely the boards. it could've been the core, or the wake. the core he has would more than likely be DNA, and the wake could've been a lot bigger.

ohio_wake_2008, if he thought the fins were the difference i highly doubt he would have noticed a difference in pop because of core material. im guessing he was riding behind the same boat too.

yeah your right it had to of been the speed becuase if i edged back into the wake to hard there was mad slack in the line and itd pull the rope right outta my hands
