| I am demoing a board tomorow. i am looking at the 3 stage boards in hl's, lf's, and cwb's line with the most vertical pop(i think the parks, substance, and transcend respectively). I want to know which board clears the wake easiest( can be ridden mellower) and which spins/flips easisest. Also the most vertical vertical pop. I assume the parks does all of these the best but correct me if i'm wrong. i am coming from a 3ds that i liked until i tried a hl state and saw the light of the 3 stage pop even on such a subtle 3 stager. |

| since you have not ridden any three stages before i think your getting yourself in over your head. First off there is more to a board than just pop. The transcend rides very loose compared to any board especially your 3ds. spinning flipping is mostly rider but board weight has a little bit to do with it but imo is not a big factor in selecting a board. the parks is definitely not a mellow board. Try the substance absolute and premier and then go from there. tell us what you did/didnt like about each of the boards and we can help you from there. |

| thanks for the responses but i am pretty sure i am not over my head. I asnowboard a lot during the winter and my 3ds make me feel like i am going small compared to what i hit on a snowboard. I need the vert pop because my knees do not stand up to landing in the flats very well on the 3ds becasue you come from higher than normal continuos like the muray etc. this is why i am demoing . right now i am trying to figure out which 1 to try since my budjet is limited on 30$ demoes. |

whatever you say . if you dont want to land in the flats you just let the line out or take a mellower cut. If you are a really good snowboarder you are never gonna go as big on a wakeboard as you are on a snowboard. you can go out into the flats on a continuous and three stage. you can get just as high on a continuous as a three stage. |
