|
|
I've looked around on the forums for something like this to no avail.
I can land a tantrum 8 outta 10 times behind a runabout boat witha crappy wake and no tower so I think i am able to rotate fast enough for a tantrum in the flats....
Can anyone do it and does anyone have video/ advice before I go kill myself out there? |

| i can do it, and there is no special trick to it, you just have to work on timing, youve got to try and stand tall at the very top of the wake, cant go early, cant go late, do it just right and your in the flats, it may be pretty hard it pull off on a runabout with no tower... |

| Its basically the same as a tantrum off the wake but you really have to focus on switching your edge hard. I surf the wake a bit then cut really hard out heelside, switch my edge really hard toeside and wait for the trip and upward lift. Its all timing, if you leave too early you'll land on your head or not even go inverted. Its almost as if your trying to cut back in toeside but since your going so fast it trips you up and over. |

| i try it all the time when i cut intowards the dock at the end of my run, i am getting my board around, and its jsut the really hard heel to toe edge transfer that helps you around. |

At first I think I was as surprised as the ppl on the boat and everyone went crazy and the feeling reminded me whats so great about boarding --- thanks guys for all the advice, it was a crowd pleaser, and it has renewed my wakeboardin passion! |
