i was trying some tantrum 2 blinds today and on my first attempt, i got verrry close to landing it. i rode away without that handle. i kept trying them, about 6 total, and i couldn't keep the handle. i actually think it is my landing and riding away. i think i let go because i start falling over or i kind of get pulled to much and i let go. any tips on riding away from it?
::edit::
i finally landed this trick today. i was takin a break from riding because my dads friend landed by the boathouse in his helicopter, so i rode again so they could take a boat ride, and i tried the tantrum 2 blind just to see if i could get close, and i landed it perfectly. i was glad to finally nail the trick after being so close on it the last 4 times out.
thanks for the tips from everyone. it helped a lot.

if you are landing them wrapped, you must do 2 things to keep from sliding out/getting pulled over.
1. look opposite to where ur traveling. usually the direction the nose of ur board is pointing, back at the trail of prop wash.
2. stick your butt out towards the handle a little and lean over to prevent getting pulled over.
you will now be able to land any trick wrapped. _________________ Mark Kenney, 1983-2002

Are you popping the handle while your still in the air or after you`ve landed? If its while your still in the air then your probably spinning the blind way to soon. You have to wait till your on the way down to spin the blind 180 if your going to land it wrapped otherwise the rope tension is ridicouls. So throw a nice straight up and down tantrum and when you spot your landing whip the 180 around. _________________ http://www.centurionboats.com/

| Phil, i am turning my back toward the boat a little bit more than a regular tantrum to help myself out with the blind spin. |

| ohio_wake_2008, I plan on starting either the end of this season or beginning of next. I'm just going to play it by ear. How many have you landed so far? That is a good, good, good trick to have, especially for comps and things. |

HS- tantrum, switch tantrum, backroll, roll 2 revert, tantrum 2 fakie, tantrum 2 blind, frontflip, frontflip to fakie. <<<8
TS-Scarecrow, frontroll, elephant, backroll, roll 2 revert. <<<5
so thats 13 that i have landed. i don't have my tantrum 2 blind consistant yet, but i will have it in a week or 2, and the switch tantrum isn't consistant. so i have 11 consistant. |

colefooter, of course
i will probably have a g-spot, tootsie roll, and hs roll 2 blind by the end of the year, or i am hoping to at least.
(g-spot is a ts backroll 2 blind, tootsie roll is a ts frontroll 2 blind, if anyone would be asking) |
