I learned just a while ago by doing backflips off a dock or my boat. I didnt want to try it first on a trampoline either. But after learing with water i can do it on a tramploline now easy.

jmac2173, i actually find it really hard to do a belly flop on a backflip off of a dock.. it is very hard to under rotate so just go for it.

I tried my first backflip while wakeboarding... I was also scared to do a backflip on the tramp so I cut in hard toeside and threw a backflip (I think its called a ts backroll) After I learned the motion behind the boat I took it to the tramp...

onenutwakeboarder, the TS backroll is the equivalent of a 'gainer' off a diving board...it's kinda hard to make this motion on a tramp.
