have the board floating on the water and rest your heels on top, with the slack gets taking out of the rope the board will get sucked up to your feet and you just get up like on a wakeboard

I've found with a wakeskate you need to keep your weight a little further back than a wakeboard. Maybe you need a different size board. How big are you and how big is the board?

Or just underwater start then it will automatically float up to your feet and then it's just like a wakeboard once again

i tried it for the first time last night and got up on both starts Smile

Very cool and so different than boarding -- much more controlled on the wipe outs Laughing

When the boat starts to pull you up...put your heals to your but. This will launch you up. TRY IT I SWEAR IT WORKS!

a little bit of both, just as long as you are in control of the board it will float you. just remember that you aren't straped to the board, so it takes a little more effort until you get the hang of it and it becomes second nature.

my opinion, put your weight against the rope keeping the board slightly plowing the water in front of you until you pop out of the water. but don't extend your legs until you have come out of the water. this should get you out every time.

have fun ridin!!!
