i ride in fresh water so i never have to clean but for sea water you might want to try a coat of ceal wax it'll help to keep the salt from erodding it and turning it colors

dont use chemicals to clean the board because they could remove the sealants from the top of the board.

if you ride in salt water your best bet would be to take the bindings off after each day is over and rinse them off real quick.
if you ride in fresh water that fading might actually be from the sun fading your board. whites can turn a bit yellowish in my experiences.

There are cleaning lotions that whiten up the cheap plastic furniture ppl have in their gardens...they are not agressive at all and I used them to clean my windsurf boards. Basically the yellow shade are algae...

Tom: you can use an air compressor to blast the sand out of the screw holes too.

If it turned yellow from the sun, you may be SOL. If it is from salt water, I would try a light rubbing compound and a soft cloth. This is what you would use on an automobile’s clear coat.

Try it on a very small area first. Afterwards, I would attempt to seal it with a good wax.

the crazy thing about ur situation is that if u cant get ur board back to brand new appearance, it will still ride just fine so just concentrate on your riding and a dirty board won't matter. and if you are still stuck on appearance then use stickers
