These have been on Tigéowners.com for a little while... I'm thinking about ordering the new 22vé.

yeah- the new 22vé is a redesign of the 22v (which is still being offered).

thats a good place for a rope, but you gotta climb back there and get it then go attach it to the tower?? Looks like a better spot for an anchor, or beer.

That boat is SICK! I am not to sure about the use of space in the interior, but I think I could make it work! hahaha

how much? what engine?

yeah... it would be nice for whoever is playing "bartender" to not have to walk all the way back in to get a beer.

Anyways- the '06 22v is about 50k (this is '05 pricing until the '06 price increase goes into effect) with the following:
340hp 5.7L Vortec
Center Bow Cushion
Wakeboard Racks
Premium Sound
Bimini Top
Flush Mount Side Lights
Transom Display Remote
Stainless Steel Package
Mooring Cover w/ Tower Cutouts
Wakeboard Pro Cruise Control (dont leave the dock w/o it!)
Custom Hull Color
Custom Deck Color
Ballast System
Tandem-Axle Trailer w/ Disc Brakes

The 22ve, with the walkway and transom is 1500-3000 bones more. I'm told that the ballast system is different in this boat as well.

Agreed. I've been wondering lately why has everyone gone to the leaned back u-bar with vertical "frame" supports? Is this just because of MC and the X-2, or was it just a shift in the industry...I haven't really seen anything mentioned about this although I'll run a search and try to come up with something. all in all i hate the look of the new towers..

I'd enjoy cutting that tower up into smaller pieces and beating whoever designed it with the resulting metal. They look disgusting. The boats themselves look nice.

Lucky for my boat dealership, the several dozen people that bought 2005 Tiges from us with that tower do not agree with the opinions above. They saw nothing wrong with a solid tower that folds, is tall enough to have lights, speakers, and bimini and still has enough height to walk under (the bimini) for someone 6' tall. Style is a matter personal opinion and the "IMOs" of above are valid views.

I like it, but I am biased.

I would see nothing wrong with that either. Except I just don't like the way it looks. Good for you and your several dozen customers that some people don't have the same taste as the above people and I. To each his own.

additionally, that tower is a good 1 1/2 feet taller than the '03-04 tower.

At first I didn't like the tower, but It's grown on me a ton. I think Tige stepped it up with their 2006 boats and their options.

That boat looks like a hot chick with a propeller beanie hat on her head. Can you order them without the tower or do they offer a different style?

J-Ro, You can get them without a tower. Since Tige manufactures their own towers, they are supposively experimenting with lots of ideas, so most likely there will be an array of choices in the future.

I've seen proto pics (as I'm sure you have too, Dave) of a reverse tower. They had it on Tigeowners.com for a while, but pulled it b/c it was nowhere near the finished product.

David- what powerplant are you running in your '05 again? I'm looking at the 340hp Vortec (dont know if I'm going to get synchrotech again). This time I'm getting the factory ballast- choices now are 1.colors! and 2. whether or not to get the "ve"

Is synchrotech a gear reduction tranny which allows you to spin a larger prop? How much difference does this make? Have you ridden the same model with and without?

I don't see the point in their walkthru. It's all of...3 inches lower than the rest of the sundeck?

I think they have some good tower designs though. I know the one Dave has is tall, super stiff, and although fairly extreme looking, it's not hideous or anything.

On the other hand, that prototype reverse tower looked like a limp ****.

Ruune, We've got the factory ballast and the 350 Merc (315 HP) does the job fine. Although, when we get about 10+ people in the boat + ballast, we have to put taps to 1 to plane out, then just move 'em back up. If your planning on having the factory ballast + any sacs or people, I'd go with the 340 HP Vortec. You should keep something along the red/black, just like your '04, But I'm biased. Personally I wouldn't get the Ve, but I don't like the look of walk-throughs but that's just me. Are you sticking with the 22, or moving up to the 24?

staying with the 22- already pricing the 340hp Vortec. Probably not going to go w/ the syncrotech tranny- more power from the upgraded engine. I do have some sacks, but I'm going to see how well the factory ballast fares w/o them. I may even pull out the tanks and replace them with bags down the road.

The one thing I like about the Ve is the new transom, and believe it or not- one of the colors I'm looking at is quite similar to yours, except the main panel would be reversed... red transom w/ black on the front.

I just now got my 04 22V paid off, just in time to start looking at trading up to an 06 (dammit). I like the walkthrough on the ve because you still have storage on that side plus no walking on the vinyl. I'm not a fan of the new tower, but I'm a minimalist. I like the transom on the ve but it looks like the prostar transom, doesn't it?

Finally, I'd be really surprised if anyone orders this McTige (Happy Meal Edition).

DAMN I love the way those new Tige's look, one of the best looking boats out there...

EXCEPT for those horrid towers. I wonder how many sales they are losing thanks to that ugly tower? That thing would look awesome with an '05 Supra tower, for example.

What anonymity levels of HTTP proxy servers exist?
1. Transparent - these proxies are not anonymous. They don't hide IP-address of a client and let a web server know that you are surfing through a proxy server. The task of such proxies, as a rule, is information caching and/or support of Internet access for several computers via single connection. Such proxies are not applicable for security and privacy while surfing on net. You can use them only for network speed improvement.
2. Anonymous - these proxies don't show your real IP but change the request fields so it is very easy to detect that you are using proxy.
3. High Anonymous - these proxy servers do not pass an IP-address of a client and don't send any variables indicating that you are using proxy server to host and look like real browser.
