okay, i know this is fullon stupid, but i have to ask

just got my monster tower installed and want to know does the loop on the end of the rope just basically slide up onto the tow point? is there anything special i need to do or does it just stay in place? using it for the first time tomorrow and don't want anybody to get hurt from the rope flying off or anything Wink

i'm guessing it just stays there from the drag, but it seems possible that they could come off, has this ever happened?

I usually loop it over the tow point then flip the rope over to make a figure "8" then loop it around again that way it is on there tighter.

ok dude her we go you can ether do it one or to ways way 1: doble loop, that is where you take the end loop put it on the toe point and then loop it around agin way 2: slip knot, take the loop pull the rope through it and put it on the toe point

I do what vette74 does, it causes the least amount of stress on the rope.. i think.. Like there isn't much folding or anything..

You put the loop on the tower, then you twist it over one time, then put the loop over again.. it's hard to explain..

ok here is one while we r asking tower questions............is a tower really that important? i mean i know i can get better air and such, but will it help me to control and get more stability and less drag? I have a 19' spectrum with no tower and i am so hooked now i want to add a tower. right now i have my rope hooked 2 the d rings that are mounted at the rear almost even with the water line. will the tower help me because i would like to start doing some tricks, but it seem almost impossile to do anything other than cut.....

its all about technique, you can get decent air without a tower or pylon, someone said they have seen a dude do an invert behind a seadoo on here so it is definatley technique. just work on your progressive edge and dont forget to stand tall at the wake for maximum pop.

fold the end down onto the part below it, open that end of the loop, pull the two strings (should be 2, maybe 1) through that loop.

i don't wanna make a drawing of it.
